With this film, and for the first time in films that star Rooney Mara history, my eyes aren’t solely transfixed on her beauty. Daniel Craig’s wardrobe is simply delightful.

Of all the films available to me on the Sky Go app, I always look to The Social Network whenever I need some late night inspiration. The day I get bored of this film, is the day I get bored with film period.

gibbyphills: Even though it’s Fincher, and has an impressive looking trailer along with an incredible looking Rooney Mara, I’m still against this film being made. I demand an international ban on any Swedish film being remade ever again. I posted this on 2nd June of this year. It’s been a week since I saw the film and I’m still in awe over what I witnessed. Even the best of us can be wrong at times.

So even better than the original?

Not to take anything away from the Swedish original as it’s still an exceptional film which should not be forgotten, but in my opinion, this one is better. It really is a seminal piece of film making that only someone like Fincher and his genius could produce.

Based on the last 24 hours, the following people would and would not of made it onto my fictional christmas card list:

  • Anyone who works for BT
  • Anyone who works for South West Rail
For anyone wondering…. it’s phenomenal. Never have I been so mesmerised by a film. Every shot is stunning. I’m not going to risk spoiling any part of it for guys so I’m just going to leave it there. See it.

Privileged to be one of the first people to see this tonight. Been by far my most anticipated film of the year so it’ll be nice to get in and see it before all the reviews and internet judgements unavoidably pollute your viewing experience. I can see myself obsessing over Rooney Mara even more after. Bloody excited.
