After months of very impatient waiting, I finally got to The Light Show at The Hayward. By far one of my favourite exhibitions I’ve been to in a while. Olafur Eliasson’s Model for a timeless garden blew my tiny mind.
I need to visit the Light Show exhibition at the Hayward. Some on the installations look magical.
A drawing of every page from On The Road. Someone please tell me this is being made into a real book?! If not, I need someone to make this into a real book. This guy needs his brilliant idea to be made into a real book.
I definitely need to befriend more people like this guy so I can have rooms that look like this.
Please excuse the Thursday morning melodrama but my life would be invariably happier if owning this was a part of it.
A very surreal evening spent at the Rain Room. Although we did get wetter than originally hoped, it’s still something everyone should experience.
Movie alphabet. What I find interesting about things like this is looking at which poster people choose when posting about this collection and wondering why they selected the one they did. Was it the one for their favourite film, or of their favourite letter, or more simply, the one that is just their favourite?
This is something I have to experience. The Rain Room at the Barbican Centre allows you to walk through a constant down pore whilst not actually getting wet. Wherever you are in the 100m squared installation, the water gets deflected away from you. It’s like having an umbrella without actually having an umbrella.
